The family tracing request service will be opened on the website of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs when a crisis (major accident, natural catastrophe, environmental disaster, political unrest, etc.) occurs. You can make an enquiry concerning a family member or friends travelling or residing in the affected area abroad. The system will include personal and contact details of Finnish citizens who may be staying in the area, entered in the service by family or close friends.
